This even protects you from thinking that something sounds better in cases it is just louder. This may not only come handy for automation for example, but the multiparameters are very smart units and you can use them to smartly morph between banks of settings for example. For example, the Harmony presets save key, chord, and inversion information, while the Voice Parameter presets save panning information, vibrato settings, etc. Some may just correct pitch or add different effects. You can also set up some harmonizers so that MIDI tells it what the current chord is. Thisprogram is by no means new. It has been in existence in many forms for atleast a decade.

It’s called the Antares Harmony Engine Evo. i have it here in the lab and am finding it more convienient to use, compares to my TC Electronic Voiceworks.
Antares Throat modeling software technology is built in, and with the small slider alongside each voice, we were able to easily mutate the vocal characteristics of our accompanying voices so that they bore little or no resemblance to the primary non-effected voice. Harmony Engine is a relatively new product and a very direct competitor to Mu Voice. I was fortunate enough to be able to test them side–by–side while conducting this review. The most popular version of the software is 3.0. This program is an intellectual property of Antares Audio Technologies. Pre-installed VST effects [click to zoom] Receptor currently comes pre-loaded with the VST effects shown at left. Whether Mu Voice can compete against these established players remains to be seen, but Mu Technologies’ main man Wim D’haes has already shown that the company are capable of a rapid development cycle.
